The Demotape Clinic takes place every year as part of the m4music popmusic Festival, organized by the Migros Culture Percentage. FONDATION SUISA is its main partner.
The Demotape Clinic offers musicians and music producers a platform on which they can present themselves and get professional feedback. The best songs from the demos sent in are given “FONDATION SUISA Awards” in the genres rock, pop, urban and electronic. In addition, the main prize “Demo of the Year” is awarded in conjunction with the Migros Culture Percentage.
Demotape Clinic Award-Show 2018

For the 20th time, the Demotape Clinic contest is going to reveal the best upcoming Swiss songs.
A selection of tracks in the four categories Pop, Rock, Urban and Electronic will be presented assessed by professionals on 23 and 24 March 2018 at m4music festival in Zurich.
A jury decides on the 3'000-franc FONDATION SUISA Award for the best track in each categorie. In addition, the most promising artist will receive the “Demo of the Year”, coming with antoher 5'000 francs.
The winners of the Demotape Clinic 2018 will be announced during the Award Show in Zurich on Saturday, 24 March at 19:00.
Demo of the Year 2017 & FONDATION SUISA Award 2017, Category Pop
At the m4music popmusic festival 2017, the FONDATION SUISA Award 2017 in the category Pop was given to Cyrielle Formaz, who also won the main prize Demo of the Year 2017, coming with CHF 5.000 prize money, for her solo project "Meimuna".
The FONDATION SUISA Awards 2017 of each CHF 3.000 went to:
